The first steps of this exciting project date back to the 19 th century, when the wine was made in the underground cellars the families of the current owners had at home. In 1986, a group of brave enterprisers ruled by the spirit of innovation of a region that was starting to show its superb potential for the production of quality and modern wines, basicly because of the soil and favourable climate, they decided to join together to build Vinícola de Tomelloso. The only purpose of making and marketing quality wines has been their target since then.
